🌿 Dr. Patrice Peterson, D.Ac, Dipl.Ac, L.Ac, LMT
Doctor of Acupuncture • Licensed Massage Therapist
Dr. Patrice Peterson is originally from Long Island, New York. She began her healthcare journey at the New York College of Health Professions, where she studied Eastern medicine and earned her A.O.S. in Massage Therapy. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2001, specializing in medical massage and integrative therapeutic bodywork.
During what she lovingly calls her “midlife crisis,” Dr. Peterson enrolled at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. She graduated in April 2025 with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and specializes in thyroid disorders and women’s health, blending evidence‑informed acupuncture with compassionate, whole‑person care.
Dr. Peterson has lived in Arizona since 2009. Outside the clinic, she sings, has performed in rock bands and theater, and recently added tap dancing to her list of creative adventures.
